Overview
The language of Chiropractic is spoken by skilled communicators. In this session Betsy Butterick will show you
- Increased patient health outcomes resulting from better understanding and compliance
- Ability to identify and avoid 7 common barriers to effective communication
- A greater understanding of how to listen and inquire in a way that builds trust
- Small language shifts that create more connective relationships in all areas of our lives

This seminar is part of the The WAVE 2020. To access, you must be registered for the full Conference. Once you are registered you may choose this and whichever lecture hours you prefer.

Betsy Butterick
At first glance, communications training and basketball coaching may not seem that similar. But as Betsy Butterick knows, each requires the perfect mix of technique, repetition, playfulness, and trust. As a Coach with Own The Room, she loves helping people discover new skills and reach their full potential in a fun and meaningful way.
A former college and professional women’s basketball coach, Betsy spent over a decade working with teams like Stanford University, the WNBA’s Seattle Storm, the University of Washington (and many more). In 2015, she launched her own business, offering communications coaching to both athletics professionals and leaders at top tech companies in California. A talented motivator, she’s presented at national events like the Women’s Basketball Final Four, the Junior NBA Youth Basketball Leadership Conference, and Ohio University’s Global Coaching Symposium. Betsy holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Claremont McKenna College and an Integral Coach Certification from New Ventures West.

You will not receive a single certificate for the entire conference; rather you may print or download a separate certificate after each conference session.
ONLINE HOURS: If you are a CA Doctor, these hours will only count as online hours. This includes any live online seminars we present. This conference is not at all eligible for earning live hours in the state of California.
