Overview
This presentation draws on images and case studies from Dr. Ruch’s ground-breaking textbook, Atlas of Common Subluxations of the Human Spine and Pelvis. Dr. Ruch presents common issues of spinal trauma and subluxation brought about by accidents and disease. He discusses social and biophysical context and what the chiropractor can do in the clinic to help the subluxated patient.

WILLIAM RUCH, DC Dr. William Ruch graduated from Life West in 1986 and has practiced in Northern California’s San Francisco Bay Area for more than three decades. He currently serves at the North Oakland Chiropractic Clinic, in addition to teaching duties at his alma mater. Dr. Ruch has given presentations for various chiropractic associations around the country, and his work has been published in journals such as the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics and the Journal of Clinical Chiropractic. Dr. Ruch is author of several books, including Atlas of Common Subluxations of the Human Spine and Pelvis, Advanced Adjusting Techniques: Chiropractic Care for Physically Compromised Patients, and If Mommy's Not Happy, No One Is Happy: Pregnancy and the Injured Pelvis. |
