To receive CE credits, you must watch all the speaker sessions. You will receive your Certificate of Completion after watching all the speakers sessions. There will NOT be certificates for each individual session, there will only be ONE certificate for the entire course.

Dr. Jeffrey Scholten brings a unique blend of academic achievement, clinical precision, and professional leadership to the chiropractic community. Practicing since 2001, he is a magna cum laude graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and holds a kinesiology degree from the University of Calgary. Dr. Scholten has spent his career elevating the NUCCA technique, where he has served in numerous capacities including Vice President, board member, and Chair of both fundraising and corporate liaison committees.

Known for his collaborative approach, Dr. Scholten engages actively in monthly study groups and multi-disciplinary conferences, building bridges between chiropractic, dental, and medical professionals. His work has been featured at major events like the World Federation of Chiropractic’s Biennial Conference and the Glen Edwards Day. Beth Zogg, DC; THOMPSON TECHNIQUE

Dr. Beth Zogg, DC, LCP, FICA, MNML, is a distinguished chiropractor, educator, and nonprofit leader whose passion for chiropractic philosophy and education has spanned nearly three decades. A 1995 graduate of Life University, Dr. Zogg holds additional credentials as a Licensed Chiropractic Philosopher (LCP), Fellow of the International Chiropractors Association (FICA), and, as of 2024, a Master’s in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Liberty University.

Dr. Zogg owns and operates Zogg Chiropractic in Muscatine, Iowa, where she has served her community with principled chiropractic care since 2005. She is also a longtime advocate for chiropractic education. As a certified Thompson Technique instructor since 1996, she has taught continuing education seminars across the U.S., including for Life University, Life West, Logan College, Palmer, and others. Her expertise also extends into thermography, upper cervical X-ray analysis, and the neuropathophysiology of vertebral subluxation.
In addition to her clinical and teaching work, Dr. Zogg has held leadership roles within the profession. She is the current President of the J. Clay Thompson Technique Foundation, the Iowa Representative and Representative Chair for the International Chiropractors Association, and a board member of the Association for the History of Chiropractic.

Blending a unique background in the arts with her chiropractic practice, Dr. Zogg was a former Outstanding Dance Major at the University of Iowa and taught ballet, Pilates, and yoga for many years. Her commitment to precision, care, and artistry continues to inform both her teaching and her approach to chiropractic care.

Julie Johnson, DC; DIGESTION FROM A CHIROPRACTIC PERSPECTIVE

Dr. Julie Johnson, DC, CFMP, brings over two decades of expertise in chiropractic care, functional medicine and higher education to the WAVE Conference stage. A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic Davenport, Dr. Johnson created the first interdisciplinary health center in her community before returning to academia where she currently serves as a faculty clinician and assistant professor at a chiropractic college. As a former elementary teacher she enjoys continuing to teach by mentoring student interns and providing evidence-informed care to a diverse patient population in an academic setting. Her clinical excellence extends to her recent work with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs where she played a role in a nationally recognized, multi-institutional study on chiropractic therapy for chronic low back pain in veterans providing chiropractic and acupuncture care at two VA locations.

In addition to her clinical and academic accomplishments, Dr. Johnson is a passionate advocate for community health education and military family wellness. With a grandfather that served in WWII, she recognized the unique needs associated with military service and developed a program that has provided over $6M of complimentary chiropractic clinical care for active duty service members, veterans and their dependents within a chiropractic college system. As a result of this program she chose to serve as President for the Rock Island Arsenal Association of the United States Army Chapter for two terms and was nominated in 2019 by LTG Stephen Twitty to become an Army Reserve Ambassador. Appointed by the Chief of the Army Reserve, Ambassadors hold a Department of Army Protocol Precedence as a major general (2 star) equivalent and work to develop awareness and advocacy for the Reserves in this key outreach and engagement program. She is serving in her second three-year term as one of eleven women in the nation to be in this position and the first chiropractor. From clinic instruction to patient care and community volunteerism, Dr. Johnson consistently blends innovation, compassion and expertise – making her a powerful voice in advance chiropractic and integrative health.

Dr. Ron Oberstein is a distinguished chiropractor, educator, and global ambassador for the chiropractic profession. He served as President of Life Chiropractic College West from 2016 to June 2025, bringing decades of clinical and leadership experience to one of the premier chiropractic institutions in the world. A 1981 graduate of Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, Dr. Oberstein was recognized early for his clinical excellence, earning the Senior Intern Award.

Dr. Oberstein’s career spans over four decades and includes private practice, global lecturing, professional development consulting, and executive leadership. He has presented throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia, championing the science, art, and philosophy of chiropractic. A former Chairman of the Board at Life West and current Chair of the Association of Chiropractic Colleges, Dr. Oberstein also serves on the Board of Directors for the International Chiropractors Association.

He is the founder of The Power Zone, a seminar training and consulting program that empowered chiropractors for over 20 years. His commitment to service is reflected in his roles with the International Chiropractic Association of California, the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges, and as a member of Life West’s Board of Regents for over two decades.

Peter Kevorkian, DC; SALUTOGENIC CHIROPRACTIC PRACTICE IN A PATHOGENIC WORLD

Chiropractic Philosophy

Dr. Peter Kevorkian is a widely respected chiropractor, educator, and leader whose impact spans nearly every corner of the chiropractic profession. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College in 1982 and has since co-led a thriving family wellness practice in Westwood, Massachusetts, alongside his wife and partner, Dr. Patricia Giuliano. Together, they have dedicated their lives to serving families with principled chiropractic care.

Over the past four decades, Dr. Kevorkian has held leadership roles across numerous chiropractic organizations. He served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Sherman College of Chiropractic, where he was a board member for nearly a decade. As President of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association from 2012 to 2023, he helped shape the direction of pediatric chiropractic care globally, while also teaching in its certification and diplomate programs since 2004.

An advocate for principled chiropractic and philosophical integrity, Dr. Kevorkian has been a voice of leadership for groups including the Massachusetts Alliance for Chiropractic Philosophy, the International Federation of Chiropractors and Organizations, and the Council on Chiropractic Practice. His contributions have been recognized through numerous awards, including Chiropractor of the Year, the Thom & Betty Gelardi Award, and fellowships from multiple organizations.

A dynamic international speaker, Dr. Kevorkian is known for his inspiring lectures on philosophy, pediatric care, and the deeper principles of human expression. He continues to influence the profession through his teaching, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the chiropractic mission.

In April 2025, Dr. Kevorkian was named by the Board of Regents of Life Chiropractic College West as the Fourth President of the College, and has assumed the role as of July 1, 2025—bringing his decades of experience, passion, and leadership to guide the institution into its next chapter.
