Colorado requires chiropractors to complete 30 hours of Continuing Education (CE) every 2 years due by October 31 of odd-numbered years.

1. You are required to have a minimum of:

• 4 hours in record keeping and documentation

2. All active licensees must maintain proof of their CPR certification for a minimum of 4 years.

3. There is no limit to the number of CE hours that can be completed in online CE courses and/or distance learning.

4. Courses in the promotion of practice building, office management, or that are outside the chiropractic scope of practice DO NOT satisfy the Board's requirements.
