The Chiropractor’s Role in Promoting Health, Guiding Health Behavior Change, and Addressing Social Determinants of Health (Online 2025)
Summary
Recent studies reveal that a significant portion of patients seeking chiropractic care for spinal and nervous system issues also present with comorbidities that significantly impact their quality of life and longevity. The overall health and well-being of our patients, their families, and our community members are shaped by a complex interplay of biopsychosocial factors, including:
• Environmental influences
Social determinants of health
• Individual health behavior choices
• Cognitive biases and beliefs of both doctors and patients
• Access to healthcare services
This twelve-hour recorded webinar offers chiropractors valuable insights into how modern chiropractic practice can effectively integrate into a multidisciplinary healthcare model.
Key topics include:
1. Understanding the role of chiropractic care in addressing complex health issues
2. Strategies for collaborating with other healthcare professionals
3. Incorporating a holistic approach to patient care
4. Navigating the evolving healthcare landscape
By participating in this webinar, practitioners will gain the knowledge and tools necessary to contribute meaningfully to the emerging narrative of integrative and informed healthcare. This webinar aims to enhance the chiropractor's ability to provide comprehensive care that addresses not only spinal health but also the broader spectrum of factors influencing patient wellness.
