This course will review the Thompson Technique analysis and adjusting procedures for the Lumbar and Pelvic Region. The course is presented by the granddaughter of Dr. Clay Thompson and includes treasured photos and video clips of Dr. Thompson himself. The Thompson Technique is easily understood and provides a method of adjusting that offers greater patient comfort as well as less stress on the doctor delivering the adjustment.

Wayne Coleman, DC

WAYNE COLEMAN, DC

Dr. Wayne Coleman is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic West and has been practicing in Pleasanton since 1988. He is a part time faculty member at Life Chiropractic College West and teaches Ethics and Jurisprudence to the senior classes at the college.

BETH ZOGG, DC

Born and raised in Iowa, Beth Zogg graduated from the University of Iowa in 1991 with a degree in Dance. She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 1995 and has practiced in Georgia and Iowa. She complete coursework in rehabilitation through Polestar Pilates and is a certified Yoga instructor. Dr. Zogg taught Upper Cervical Analysis and Thermography at Life University as well Nutrition and Anatomy & Physiology at Muscatine Community College. She teaches continuing education courses in the Thompson Technique and Chiropractic Thermography and is in full-time practice in Muscatine, IA. Dr. Zogg is the President of the J Clay Thompson Technique foundation which is a non-profit that promotes the work of her grandfather, the late J Clay Thompson DC, PhC.

JAMIE P. MOTLEY, MA, DC, DACBR

Dr. Jamie P Motley completed her Doctorate of Chiropractic studies in 2009 at Life Chiropractic College West. As a chiropractic student, Motley developed a keen interest in radiology. Shortly following graduation she entered a Diplomat of the American Chiropractic College of Radiology post-doctorate program at New York Chiropractic College in upstate NY. Upon successfully completing the DACBR program, Dr. Motley started a private reading practice interpreting Radiographic, MRI and CT musculoskeletal studies. In 2013, Dr Motley accepted a teaching position here at Life West where she teaches and reads imaging studies and inspires students. In 2019 Dr. Motely took on a new position as the founding director of Life West's Master's of Science in Diagnostic Imaging program.

Credits are awarded individually for each course.
